Miracles

The night started with glorious praise and worship to the King of the entire universe, Jesus Christ.  Hundreds of youth came together to a building named El Rey Jesus for the first time in 2010.  It had been weeks since we got together.  What God had in store for us, we would never expect…

As God’s presence grew stronger and stronger throughout the praise and worship, everyone could feel something was happening.  You could feel it dripping off your fingertips, His love and power.  Pastor Frank began to call out various sicknesses, pains, and health problems.  The line of people grew as more and more of the physically sick and broken came forward.  One by one, pastor laid his hand upon each of them.  They were taken to the side of the altar’s platform and given a microphone to tell the people what God had just done in their lives.  Every report was amazing!  One young girl was healed from a hernia, another girl was healed from a bleeding problem she’s had for over 10 years, back problems were healed and even one young boy who was deaf started to hear!  He was deaf all his life, and in 5 minutes God did a creative miracle that science cannot duplicate!

The Lord of the harvest

26 Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert. 27 So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship, 28 was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet. 29 Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.”  30 So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?”  31 And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him. 32 The place in the Scripture which he read was this:

      ” He was led as a sheep to the slaughter;

       And as a lamb before its shearer is silent,

       So He opened not His mouth.

       33 In His humiliation His justice was taken away,

      And who will declare His generation?

      For His life is taken from the earth.”

34 So the eunuch answered Philip and said, “I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?” 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. 36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?”  37 Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.”  And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”  38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him.   Acts 8:26-38

“35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!”  John 4:35

“37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” Matthew 9:37

Someone say “the harvest is plenty!”  The bible says that we are to pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers.  God doesn’t have a problem with the harvest; He has a problem with the workers.  There are kids doing drugs all across this city, 13 year olds selling their body, women sleeping with men and women at the same time. There are no standards anymore.  This is a dark world we live in.  Because of this, someone has to go out of the four walls of the church and win the lost.  We need to go out and evangelize like we were Jehovah witnesses.  We don’t do it because someone told us to, but because we are grateful for what Jesus has done for us!

God is lifting up a new breed of evangelists.  They are not afraid of being made fun of, criticized, or insulted.  I want a witness; I want someone who’s ready to die.  I want someone who’s ready to lay it all down.  Lay down your family, lay down your crown, and lay everything down for the gospel.  There is a new breed that is being lifted up that God is going to rise.  I’m going to list some qualities of these new breed of evangelists:

The sound of God

This new breed of evangelists can hear the voice of God.  God’s heartbeat is for souls.  I don’t want another pair of shoes, I want a soul!  I don’t want to get my highlights done; I just want a bunch of souls!  What good is it that you have long nails and you can’t scratch someone out of hell!  You need to be on fire for souls!  The bible says that Philip heard the angel of the Lord speaking to him.  If you want to gather the greatest harvest of souls this world has ever seen, you need to go out there.  How about you lay it all down for the gospel?  Tell someone “I’ve got to go!”  There is power you haven’t experienced yet because you haven’t gone yet.  When you lay your hands on that boy that’s possessed by crack, your going to see that demon go in Jesus name! 

You got to hit the road baby.  We need to go to Miami Beach and snatch a soul!  We need to just shut down church and take every Christian to the club and snatch all of them.  Give me a drug attic so I can make him a disciple!  Give me a pimp so I can make him a pastor!  Give me a prostitute so I can make her a prayer warrior!  Your hearing the voice of God right now.  Start going to the alley’s and the crack houses.  You’re going to go to college’s and universities and give that lesbian a word, your going to give that homosexual a prophetic word that will change their life.

Don’t think twice!

The second quality is that they won’t think it twice.  They will just be obedient to the word of God.  God will use you to speak into somebody’s treasure.  Philip ran into the guy that was holding all the money that this queen had.  God is going to use you to speak into somebody’s purpose, destiny and life.  Say out loud, “that’s me!”  You are anointed to make someone keep that treasure.  You are going to speak into their gifts.  You are going to look past the alcohol, the cigarette, the vibe and the junk and you’re going to see a treasure.  There are people in the corner’s of every alley wasting their gift, wasting their life!  There are singers, artists, and millionaires and all sorts of amazing people just wasting everything they have inside.

There are people in the street who wish that they have what you have.  There are people just begging what you have in abundance.  There are people acting miserable, because they wish they only had a chance to be you.  The very people who tell you they hate you are the ones that are desperate for a piece of the pie.  I don’t care what the devil says, I’m going to do it in his face and fill Heaven with souls! 

Do you have an appointment?

The fourth quality of this new breed is that they will have divine appointments.  You are going to run into people that are looking for a way out, people who are suicidal, and your going to run right into these people and get them saved.  The fifth quality is that you need to run.  This vision is not for wimps.  If you can’t run, then you won’t be able to keep up.  These people are willing to fight, to do whatever it takes.  The principle is that Philip was able to run right next to the chariot, so he must have been running in a supernatural way because you can’t run at the speed of a horse.  On top of that, God gave Philip a download of what the man was reading.  God is going to give you a Holy Ghost download that will tell you everything that the person is thinking.  Your going to go up to people and just tell them what’s going on in their life, and when they open up to you, your going to have the wisdom to win them. 

Finally, the bible says that Philip explained what he was reading.  This new breed of evangelists won’t be just satisfied by just winning the soul, but they will go the extra mile.  Philip baptized the man.  There are souls that if we win them and just leave them there, they will suffer.  If we don’t take care of the harvest, they will go back to the devil.  Are you going to be the one who will help these new believers as they grow in God?  Who is going to do it?  Is it you?
